The SAKON 2019 International Conference, held at the Rzeszow University of Technology (Rzeszow, Poland), has finished. The National Aviation University, on the basis of FESET and Ukrainian Research & Educational Center of chemmotology and certification of fuels, lubricants and technical liquids, is a co-organizer of this conference. We would like to inform you that the delegation of the faculty, headed by the dean, has traditionally participated in this event for last 10 years during September 18.09-21.09.2019. The achievements of the chemmotological scientific school were presented in the reports of Professor Boichenko S.V., associate professors Trofimov I.L. and Iakovlieva A.V. The Head of the Ukrainian Research & Educational Center of chemmotology and certification of fuels, lubricants and technical liquids of NAU Shkilniuk I.O. presented report on the microbiological damage to motor fuels, as well as Associate Professor Shamansky S.I, the “Modern Technologies for the Protection of the Hydrosphere” project leader. The second day of the conference, besides sectional discussions, was marked by a numerous of fruitful meetings with the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Mr Grzegorz Ostash, and representatives of the Erasmus + European Union Program Department, the administrations of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics. Prior arrangements have been made for joint participation in the formation of a Consortium for the implementation of joint projects under the KA2 Program “Cooperation Projects” and Jean Monnet “European Studies” of the European Union Program “Erasmus +”. As usual, the work of the conference, led by its sponsor and head, Professor Kazimierz Lejda, was characterized by a friendly, honorable and constructive atmosphere.
