History of the Department Biocybernetics and aerospace medicine

The Department of Bio-Cybernetics and Aerospace Medicine was founded in 2003 and since 2010, it trains applicants for higher education from the educational and professional programs “Biomedical Engineering” of specialty 163 “Biomedical engineering” and “Biotechnical and medical apparatuses and systems” of specialty 172 “Telecommunications and radio engineering”.

The founder and head of the department is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vyacheslav Danilovich.

Member of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; scientific advisor of the 9th direction of the State Program of Studies of Ukraine in Antarctica; Member of the Board of the Institute of Information and Diagnostic Systems; member of the specialized academic council D 05.052.02; Member of the Specialized Academic Council K 26.062.11.

The author of more than 160 scientific and methodological works, including monographs, textbooks, teaching aids (in co-authorship). He is the author of more than 2 textbooks, 5 teaching aids, 2 certificates of authorship.

The sphere of scientific interests is connected with the development of methods of analysis and synthesis of technological processes of production both in aviation and in the biomedical engineering industry of Ukraine. Under his direct leadership a number of priority areas of research are developing: synthesis of technological processes of production and exploitation of biomedical complexes; creation of a single state of the system of maintenance and repair of medical equipment in the field of economy of the state; synthesis of computerized information systems; problems of research of human psychophysiology.

Today, he is actively working on problems of developing the methodology of optimal synthesis of the system of exploitation of biomedical complexes; algorithmization of processes of rehabilitation of operators operating in extreme conditions; studying the dynamics of the process of transformation of resource streams in technological processes of production; a technique for building cost-effective technological processes for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Under his leadership, a research laboratory for medical and psycho-physiological rehabilitation of extremists functions.

The Department of Bio-Cybernetics and Aerospace Medicine (graduation department) has a strong staff professorial teaching staff. The department employs 2 professors, doctors of technical sciences, full-time employees; 3 doctors of medical sciences, 2 of them are honored worker of education, 1 doctor of technical sciences, senior researcher working part-time and 5 candidates of technical sciences, 4 of them have the academic rank of associate professor of staff and 1 candidate of medical sciences and 1 candidate of pedagogical sciences, working part-time.
The high level of training for higher education graduates is provided by the professors of the Department of the VA VA and Kosheva L.O. 83% of the total number of scientific and pedagogical workers of the department are teachers with scientific degrees and titles. All scientific and pedagogical staff work at the department at a permanent place of work, thus, the proportion of teachers employed on a permanent basis is 70%.

The graduation Department provides an educational process for educational and professional programs “Biomedical engineering” of specialty 163 “Biomedical engineering” and “Biotechnical and medical apparatuses and systems” of specialty 172 “Telecommunications and radio engineering”. The educational work is carried out in accordance with the work plan of the department.

Teaching of educational disciplines of all blocks of curricula of educational and professional programs “Biomedical engineering” of specialty 163 “Biomedical engineering” and “Biomedical and medical apparatuses and systems” of specialty 172 “Telecommunications and radio engineering” are provided by highly qualified scientific and pedagogical workers with scientific degrees and scientists. titles that meet licensing and accreditation requirements.

Since 2005, the department is co-organizer of the International Antarctic Conference (co-organizer – National Antarctic Scientific Center of Ukraine).

Over the past 4 years, more than 100 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 33 foreign publications (20 of them in the publications included in the Scopus database or other scientific databases) have been published by the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Biocithernetics and Aerospace Medicine. Over the past 4 years, the scientific and pedagogical workers of the department have become the authors and co-authors of 2 textbooks (all with the stamp of the MONU), 1 textbook with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science, 9 educational and methodological developments.

Scientific and pedagogical workers, post-graduate students and students during the last five years have completed the Cathedral NDR 19A / 08.01.03 “Methodological bases for assessing the accuracy of test results of biomedical equipment”, 33 / 08.01.03 “Development of methods for assessing the physiophysiological state of the operator” and 33 / 14.01. 03 “Development of a methodology for building a system for increasing the likelihood of assessing the psychophysiological state of specialists in extreme activity”.

Under the leadership of the head of the department, professor VZD 3 postgraduate students work, 2nd degree Ph.D. thesis. Scientific work involves students of the department, which acquire scientific results, report them at scientific, scientific-practical conferences and publish in professional journals.
